In short

Using ArmaMatch does not require an account or any personal data. Your build selections travel in the URL and are not stored on the server. Only small settings such as your language and sorting preference are written to cookies in your browser. Technical data (IP address, browser information) may be processed for hosting and advertising; details follow below.

What data is processed?

  • Your build selections: only part of the page URL; not stored on the server and never linked to an account.
  • Preferences: language (armamatch-lang) and sorting (armamatch-sort) cookies, used only to remember the interface.
  • Technical logs: the hosting provider may keep standard server logs such as IP address and browser information for security and debugging.
  • Contact form: if you use the form, your name, email and message are used only to reply to you.

Cookies and local storage

Cookies are used to remember your language preference, sorting choice and (for language detection only) your browser time zone. These cookies are not for advertising and can be cleared from your browser. If you disable cookies the site keeps working; you simply lose remembered preferences.

Advertising and third parties

The site may use third-party providers, including Google AdSense, to display advertising. These providers may use cookies and process visit data to serve you more relevant ads. For details and opt-out options regarding Google’s advertising cookies, see Google’s advertising policies and Ad Settings. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked for consent for personalised advertising where legally required.

Third-party advertising partners are responsible for their own content and practices.

What we do not do with your data

  • We do not sell your personal data.
  • We do not use your selections or messages for marketing.
  • Unless you create an account, we do not keep a personally identifying profile of you.

Your rights (GDPR / CCPA)

Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct or delete the data processed about you, or to object to its processing. To make a request, email [email protected]. We respond within a reasonable time.

Retention and children’s privacy

Contact messages are kept for a reasonable period after your request is handled and then deleted. Server logs are retained for a limited period under the hosting provider’s policy. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Policy changes and contact

This policy may be updated from time to time; for significant changes the “last updated” date at the top of the page is refreshed. For questions, use the Contact page or email [email protected].
